Macbeth is a contemporary staging of Shakespeare’s tragedy, presented to adult audiences in an intimate studio theatre setting, requiring precise technical integration to support atmosphere and storytelling.

As Technical Stage Manager, I deployed and ran special effects, including a laser sight effect, ensuring safe operation and consistent delivery throughout the run. I operated both QLab and EOS with precision, maintaining reliable cueing across lighting and sound to support the production’s tone and pacing.

This role required strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and calm execution, enabling the creative team to realise a technically driven production within a compact performance environment.
