The Liminoid
Stage Manager

Aug 25 | The Cockpit Theatre | Jelly Legs & TUFT

I worked as Stage Manager on The Limonoid at The Cockpit Theatre, produced by Jelly Legs & TUFT, for its August Fringe run. The production was technically ambitious and visually driven, requiring a hands-on and inventive approach within the constraints of a Fringe venue.

I designed, installed, and operated bespoke fly systems to support multiple moving set elements, adapting the theatre’s existing infrastructure to meet the creative demands of the show. This required careful planning, clear communication with the creative team, and rigorous attention to safety to ensure the systems functioned reliably throughout the run.

Alongside this, I ran the technical rehearsal process, coordinating departments and managing limited time and resources to realise the production effectively. Working within tight schedules and budgets, I prioritised clarity and efficiency to deliver a polished technical finish while supporting the company through an intensive Fringe schedule.

This role reflects my ability to combine practical technical skills with calm, organised stage management, enabling ambitious creative work to be delivered safely and successfully in a challenging production environment.
