Game Play
Technical Stage Manager
May – Jun 25 | Brockley Jack Studio Theatre | Kitchen Revolt
I worked as Technical Stage Manager on Game Play at Brockley Jack Studio Theatre for Kitchen Revolt Productions. The production was technically driven and experimental in form, requiring close integration between sound, lighting, and stage management to support its structure and pacing.
I designed and delivered an experimental soundscape with intricate cueing, working closely with the creative team to embed sound as an active storytelling element rather than a purely supportive layer. This required detailed programming, precise timing, and ongoing adjustment throughout rehearsals and performances.
Alongside this, I managed all technical departments, coordinating workflows, schedules, and communication to ensure a cohesive and efficient production process. By maintaining clear oversight across departments, I supported a smooth technical rehearsal period and consistent performance delivery.
This role highlights my ability to combine creative technical design with organised leadership, balancing artistic ambition with practical delivery to produce a seamless and well-integrated production.
