Frank’s Closet
Deputy Stage Manager

Aug – Nov 24 | Wilton’s & The Arts Theatre | Ladbon MacLeod Barnes

Frank’s Closet is a flamboyant Musical theatre production with a fast-paced, visually driven style, presented to a broad adult audience.

I cued a highly complex show comprising over 850 lighting cues and 100+ sound cues, integrating snap cues, a dynamic musical score, and precise visual moments. My consistent and accurate cueing enabled the production to transfer seamlessly to the West End, where I called performances confidently without requiring a dress rehearsal or previews.

With the Stage Manager also fulfilling Co-Producer duties, I regularly deputised, taking on extended Stage Management responsibilities. I led the production independently when required, providing calm oversight, clear direction, and full support to the creative and technical teams.

This role demanded meticulous attention to detail, advanced technical coordination, and proactive problem-solving, alongside strong leadership and communication skills to ensure smooth, high-quality performances throughout the run.
